Mekeni Food Corporation participated in IFEX Philippines 2025, held from May 22 to 24, 2025, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, showcasing a vibrant array of Filipino food favorites.
As one of the Philippines’ leading food manufacturers, Mekeni joined hundreds of local and international exhibitors at IFEX Philippines 2025 to spotlight the global potential of Filipino products.
The company showcased a diverse lineup of export-ready offerings, from street food staples like Fish balls, Kikiam, and Squid balls to premium selections such as Picnic Hotdog and Hungarian Sausage, bringing Filipino flavors to the international stage.
Mekeni also took the opportunity to introduce its latest product, the Breakfast Sausage. Although small in size, this new offering delivers big on flavor, appealing to consumers seeking a premium yet versatile product. Designed for more than just breakfast, it reflects Mekeni’s commitment to meeting evolving consumer preferences.

Mekeni, through the years, has passed various food safety certifications and received awards that include ISO 22000:2005 (Food Safety Management System) in 2006, Grand Slam Award for Best Meat Processing Plant AAA Category from 2004-2006, the World Quality Commitment Award (France, 2016), The International Arch of Europe (Germany, 2013), and the Century International Quality ERA Award (Switzerland, 2012).
Mekeni is also the first heat processing facility accredited by Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries to export products to the said country since 2017. It has also EU plant accreditation and US-FDA audited facility.
