Mekeni Picnic Shanghai

Ingredients

Filling

  • 6-8 Mekeni Picnic Hotdogs/Cheesedogs, diced
  • 1 small block of cheese (approx. 165g), diced
  • 3 siling pansigang, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp spring onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional)
  • ground pepper to taste

 

Other ingredients

  • at least 20 pcs Lumpia wrappers
  • water (for sealing)
  • 1 cup oil (for frying)

Procedure

  • Mix all the ingredients for the filling in a bowl.
  • Get 1 Lumpia wrapper and put 1 tbsp of filling in the middle.
  • Roll the Lumpia tightly and seal the wrapper with water.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the pieces until golden brown.
  • Best served with ketchup or sweet chili sauce while hot.
